Has anyone heard on an exact release date for the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST?

Looks like at least six Fiesta STs have been assigned VIN numbers and been given a window sticker on 6/20/13. This means they will likely be built this week. 3-4 weeks after they are built they should start showing up at dealers. This puts the very first Fiesta STs showing up at dealers sometime very late July/early August.

Although being among the very first Fiesta STs to hit the line, they may very well be delayed. I remember when the Focus STs were released there was a small batch of dealer cars shipped to select dealers that were built about 2-3 weeks before bulk of the pre-orders.

Going to keep an eye on ETIS ( http://www.etis.ford.com/vehicleRegSelector.do ) with the following Fiesta ST VINS to see if it updates, which typically happens the day after the car is built:

3FADP4GX6EM116692 (York Ford, Saugus, MA)
3FADP4GX9EM117321 (Russ Milne Ford, Macomb, MI)
3FADP4GX8EM117598 (Airport Marina Ford, Los Angeles, CA)
3FADP4GX4EM119199 (COBB)
3FADP4GX0EM121144 (Airport Marina Ford, Los Angeles, CA)
3FADP4GX4EM123544 (Brandon Ford, Tampa FL)

This means if you live nearby you could probably get your name on one, and have likely it before the other pre-order vehicles, which as far as I know have not gotten VINS yet. It might be tough to get a decent deal though on these dealer order vehicles.

Edit: Added more info

Walker Ford in Clearwater has a window sticker for an ST that shows up in their extended inventory, 3FADP4GX0EM117045. From the last six it appears it has been built. If you would give us an update; I would appreciate it.

If I recall correctly, when I got my '11 the transit time to Florida was about four weeks. That would make it early August in this part of the world for arrival at the dealerships. Given the order date for mine; I'll be happy if I have a VIN by the end of August and a September arrival date. Thank you for the updates and good info agr964!

Well, we're into early August, and it seems like none have shown up on dealer lots so far. Anyone thinking a late August/early September release date is out of the question?

For what it's worth, I ordered my Fiesta ST in June and it's still in order processing, so no VIN yet, and it sounds like a lot of people are in the same boat. I'm really hoping that it gets assigned a VIN and built soon (hopefully this month), but I'm not holding my breath at this point.

I am also in the same boat as you guys. I have been in constant contact with my salesman, aka hounding the crap out of him haha, and he said yesterday that I should have my vin early next week. Not to give false hope but that's what he said, I'm not sure if it is the same across the board for everybody but at least it is something.

Talked with my dealer and nothing new on my personal order cuz I have the painted wheel option which is in limited supply right now. But he said they are looking at getting the plain jane stripper they ordered on the lot in Sept sometime. So that's something at least while I will wait for the car I ordered at least I should be able to see touch and smell a ST while I wait for mine (maybe even drive it if its not sold by the time it shows up) .. Lets hope it true so we all can stop waiting and start driving these hot hatches lol

Ordered mine just short of a month ago. Tux black with nav. The dealer here in petawawa told me friday I would hear some news come this monday. They also gave me a vin from a car another dealer had on order the same specs as mine and 3 nights ago I pulled the window sticker and it now reads pricing and not just " not for sale". Sorry for long post. Im just pumped for this car. But if it takes too long ill have to buy winter tires right away for it. Sorry again this is my first post as a member.

First off, I'm a Volkswagen guy but I'm getting a Fiesta ST for my sweet, sweet girlfriend. I've had my VIN# for about a week. I called a customer service number and Ford told me that my Fiesta ST was currently "in transit" and due to be delivered "The week of September 4" which was later clarified to mean between August 29th and September 4th. I'm interested to see if anyone else can get information by calling.

You will need your VIN#!! Sorry, I'm too paranoid to share my own. I will say that I'm in Dallas, which is only about 18 hours from Cuautitlan and my car was not custom ordered, but picked from a list of already built cars (built August 1, 2013 Tux Black, Nav and Moonroof). YMMV.

Phone number is: 1(800)392-3673

FYI: This number isn't a secret, it's also here: Contact Us | Ford Motor Company Customer Service | Ford.com

My dealer has stated that my Fiesta ST will be available to pickup and take home tomorrow September 4th at 5:00 PM Central Time. If so, I'll give my final update to this thread with a pic of it next to my Jetta as confirmation that they are finding their way to customers. I still haven't seen anyone not-affilliated with Ford (via Fiesta Movement) or not part of the car industry with a delivered Fiesta ST yet, but at least I'm pretty sure that I'll have mine tomorrow.

Ford’s media launch of their new Fiesta ST 180bhp turbocharged 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol ‘hot hatch’ at their Bridgend Engine Plant South Wales

In the US Ford can claim close to 200bhp from the same engine and 214lb ft of torque because they use the ‘overboost’ peak power rating figures not the ones which have to be applied in Europe with the constant power output, not just the 15 second ‘overboost’ peak.

Traditionally hot hatches have been three door cars; today’s market requirements have changed and in the US Ford offer the new Fiesta ST in five door configuration so why not here? We hear about the ‘One Ford’ latest global model policy on almost every occasion at Ford’s media events so why doesn’t this apply to the Fiesta ST?

Interesting read I didn't know they wanted a 5 door and we seem to want a 3 door Fiesta ST lol always want what is on the other side of the fence ;)
