We spoke with a rep at SEMA. EBC will have pads on the market early 2014. The hold up for them is the hold up for the rest of the manufacturers, getting the backing plates.

Apparently sourcing a supplier has been difficult.

I bought the EBC rears and like everyone, was waiting for MONTHS for the fronts. I ended up getting a set of Carbotech CT1668-1521 ceramic front pads along with a set of Brake Performance dimpled an slotted rotors. They really worked out okay. From what I understand, Carbotech makes their own backing plates.

I really do not understand this issue. Spend $50, buy a set of pads and go from there.

I think I got to the bottom of this today. May be well worth the wait.

The pads for the Focus ST are still in production and our most recent ETA update is for some time in April. All our brake pads for the Focus ST will have the new style of backing plates call NUCAP NRS hook style backing plates and we are waiting for these to arrive to our UK production plant. This style of backing plate is an industry first for automotive so there are many things we have to change as far as production and machinery goes. We have already started using the NRS hook system in our ExtraDuty Truck pads and we will slowly begin to phase this into our entire line of brake pads in the following years. Beginning with new never been made before part numbers such as those for the Focus ST.

Your last link is missing an "s" and the end of the URL. It should be...

If you do not want to wait forever and do not like the mess the factory pads leave, then just get a set of Carbotech CT1668-1521 ceramic front pads for the front and their rear ceramic pads for the rear. I have had them on along with a set of Brake Performance dimpled an slotted rotors for months now and they are not at all noisy and feel pretty much the same as the factory pads as for as initial bite. I think the cost is very similar to EBC and you can get them now.

So unless you do not like Carbotech pads, why wait????

ALSO; I also just received my COBB FMIC and FSwerks Stealth Exhaust systems and will get them on this spring. I already have a COBB CAI and one of their AccessPort tuners and a Redline Elite hood shock kit.
