Motor Trend makes a good case, they think we will see a few more Fusion variants in upcoming auto Shows. A Fusion ST for the US and EU means another car for Ford ST Nation to cover.

Basic facts behind Ford ST Nation. If when I created this site, there was only a Focus ST, this place would have been called Focus ST Nation. In Fact, I do have the domain, http://focusSTNation.com. I also have Fiesta ST Nation.com as well. Simply put, if Ford was not going to produce the Fiesta ST, then I would rebrand the site Focus ST Nation. IF...

IF http://fordstnation.com/fiesta-st-general-discussion/171-2013-2013-ford-fiesta-st-mule-spied-again-time-closer-look-new-post.html you look at this post, without Ford announcing this news themselves, but it might be safe to say that we will be sticking with Ford ST Nation for many years to come.

AND...Another ST means a larger community as a one stop shop for enthusiasts. I really hope we see another ST.. :)

Yep, they do have different names. Its a good thing the Fusion in the NA market has the right looking car. :) That German Fusion needs to be incinerated.

Another interesting point about the names:

In the 1990's the Ford Contour/Mercury Mystique were the equivalent of the Ford Mondeo in Europe. Both were built off of the old CDW27 platform. The Mondeo kept selling in Europe after the year 2000, whereas the Contour/Mystique were dropped in the US.
