I have been thinking about changing out my halogen headlamps with a LED conversoin kit. Anyone here have any experience with this?

I just changed out to LED's, I needed to run a relay as the ECU would give bulb errors and shut the lights off completely. Since the relay has been installed, I get a momentary bulb failure warning and then the warning goes off.

I got my led's yesterday and installed them. They look great but ran into the same issue you encountered. They work when ignition is in accessory mode but shut off when the car is running with the ECU showing a bulb error. Looks like there are two options, add a capacitor to each bulb or install a relay. Adding capacitors is pretty straight forward. Is it difficult to install a relay?

The capacitors did not work in my case. The relay is straight forward if you buy one that connects directly to your factory light harness plug. It wires to the positive battery terminal and a ground, the other plug fits right to factory bulb plug.
