Winter in Central NY is pretty dreary. I'm going to use my stock wheels for my snow tires, and I'm thinking about plasti-dipping the wheels red. The car will be Oxford White.

What do you guys think? Over the top? Or potentially cool?

Here's the look...albeit on a 911!

Thanks Rev. I'm talking about the stock wheels in red.

I saw a graphite colored Evo X yesterday with candy red rims. It was pretty sexy.

Would probably look just as good on white.

So maybe something like what ford did with thr Ford GT

Instead of FORD GT on the side, it would be FOCUS ST!

White car post? inb4 Dark Buddha, lol.

I think that Porsche looks sweet, but honestly I don't think that combo will work very well on an ST...

Ford Racing definitely needs to make this happen! That would look fantastic. Thanks everyone for the input so far. The great thing about plasti-dip is that if it looks horrible, it only takes a little time to peel off.

Pretty nice! But it's an Italian car, so such exuberance seems to fit! I guess if I do this, I'll have to plastidip the side mirrors red, too. I'm not sure my bosses will want that kind of car parked in front of the building!

TRUE.. the FIAT exudes pugnacious attitude while the ST is more slick badass..certain colors and color combos work well on some cars but really fall flat on others.

I approve of this paint job. You better be ready for everyone wanting to race you though

Personally, I don't really care for the look (even on the Porsche)...but I can see how some folks might find it a more exciting visual.
I guess it depends on how much attention you want from other drivers.
The few times that I have driven the Exige on the street, I have found that an "attention getting" car is not necessarily a good thing.

+1

I don't want any car that screams: "Hey, look at me, I want attention!"

As Seinfeld would say, "Not that there's anything wrong with that". Do what you like, it's just not for me.

Not my taste but it works for those that like the attention.
