Well this has been a bugger of a problem.

When starting the car up the check engine light comes on and in the area where you can read MPG and trip info a warning box pops up stating "Service Engine Now". You can hold the OK button for this to go away but when you try to drive the car at all it goes into Limp mode is the best way to describe it. The only way that will get rid of this sometimes is to rev the engine as high as you can go, turn the car off and then turn the car back on. The car then works fine.

Used an SCT X3 tuner to read the code and it was the p0236 which is "Turbo/Boost Sensor 'A' Circuit Range/Performance"

Took it into my local Ford dealer and they have had it for the past 4 days now. They have replaced a wiring harness and have stated that something isn't getting the correct power so they are now working with Ford National to go through steps on troubleshooting the wiring harness.

I will update what the fix was as soon as I can get the car back.

Sorry for not getting back to you guys quicker.

Last update: Currently there has been no code issue with the vehicle since they swapped out the wiring harness. Everything is good as far as the vehicle goes.

As per the question concerning the Tune, I had removed the Cobb Map that was on the vehicle. It was stock and I had rode around in it for about a week before taking the vehicle in for the warranty work. I think one of the first things they would have looked at especially having it there for multiple days and still not finding out what was going on was to see if the computer had been messed with.

Your mileage may vary so don't take my word for everything being great if you remove the map and go back to stock. I am unsure of the facility and their work due to I still had a Downpipe on the vehicle and they didn't say 1 word about that or how it has no cats. I am the only one where I live that has an ST so the whole turbo thing and newness of the car might have thrown them for a loop.

I got this same code last friday after refilling gas (93oct). Limped home, then the next am it was gone.

This morning BEFORE getting gas, got the same thing. The limping went away after getting gas (could be circumstantial), and when I got to my service dept they had the same code. The CEL is still on, but no illuminated "I" signal under the MFT Screen. Going back in Monday for a more in-depth service, I'll make sure to suggest the ECM Wiring harness.

I'm not tuned either (glad I haven't yet for this exact reason, but glad to see you didn't get "found out")
